Adelaide Airport adds record weekly flights from Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines will raise its Adelaide‑Singapore service from ten to twelve flights per week starting 25 October 2026, creating the first year‑round schedule of 12 weekly international flights out of Adelaide. The expansion adds 1,328 seats each week for travelers and exporters, extending South Australia’s connection to Singapore’s Changi hub and onward to Europe, the UK and Asia. Adelaide Airport Managing Director Brenton Cox said the move marks a historic increase in capacity for the region.

China Southern Airlines will also boost its Adelaide‑Guangzhou route to daily flights from 1 December 2026 to 10 March 2027, adding another 1,064 seats weekly. Together, the two airlines will provide an extra 2,392 seats each week during the peak summer period, giving South Australians more options for business, leisure and family travel.

The changes build on Singapore Airlines’ 42‑year presence as South Australia’s longest‑serving international carrier, with SIA Regional Vice‑President Foo Chai Woo highlighting the airline’s continued support for the market.
