Aden Free Zone Police receive security awareness training

The Ministry of Interior’s General Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations has launched a field awareness program for the Aden Free Zone Police in Aden. The initiative aims to increase security readiness, vigilance, and discipline among personnel while reinforcing legal knowledge and police principles.

Brigadier General Heitham al-Jaradi, Director General of Moral Guidance, emphasized that the efforts of the Free Zone Police in intercepting smuggled weapons and equipment are vital to protecting national security and disrupting the capabilities of the Houthi militia. He noted that preventing the flow of illicit materials is a key step in countering Iranian-backed activities and supporting the broader national security mission.

Brigadier General Salim al-Mahthouthi, Director General of the Aden Free Zone Police, welcomed the program, stating it is essential for boosting morale and ensuring personnel are prepared to fulfill their security responsibilities and combat smuggling activities within the zone.
