Aden infrastructure projects: Road repairs launched in Al-Tawahi and West Coast
Authorities in Aden have initiated several infrastructure projects to improve road conditions and services. In the Al-Tawahi district, the site for the Ras Marbat road paving project has been handed over to the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund. This project, which had been stalled for several years, has a total cost of approximately 225.8 million Yemeni riyals. The work is being implemented by Military Works under the supervision of the Al-Tawahi local authority.
Additionally, maintenance and repair work has commenced on the West Coast road following directives from Aden Governor Abdulrahman Sheikh. The repairs aim to address cracks and potholes that have hindered travel and slowed the movement of ambulances transporting wounded individuals. The maintenance is intended to improve safety for commuters and facilitate the transport of humanitarian aid and supplies between Aden and the West Coast regions.
