Aden municipal officials approve new public‑works and cleanliness initiatives

The director general of the Buraika Directorate in Aden, Ahmed Ali al‑Daoudi, met with the public works and roads office to review recent activities and discuss challenges. The meeting covered licensing, violation removal, environmental health actions, fog spraying, and inspection duties, and resulted in a new work plan aimed at speeding service delivery and improving infrastructure.

The governor of Aden, Abdulrahman Sheikh, chaired the board of the Cleanliness Fund, reviewing its first‑half performance and approving new tenders to boost city services. The council examined revenue, garden and market management, street‑sign advertising regulations, and emphasized transparency and efficiency to raise service quality for residents.
