Aden security forces launch campaign and report crime statistics

Security forces in Aden have launched an extensive security campaign targeting mountainous areas and surrounding sites to enhance readiness and prevent activities that threaten stability. The operation, supervised by Major General Mutahar Ali Naji, involved multiple units including national security forces, local police, and community committees across districts such as Tawahi, Al-Rawdah, Al-Mualla, and Crater. The campaign resulted in the detention of several suspects.

In a separate weekly security report, the Aden Police Department announced that it handled 55 reports, successfully resolving 48 cases involving theft, drugs, fraud, and public disturbance. The report noted that 60 individuals were detained, while seven fugitives remain at large.

Additionally, the Yemen Gas Company (Aden branch) released distribution schedules for Sunday, October 11, 2026. The plan includes the opening of 73 gas stations for vehicles, distributing approximately 297 tons of gas across various districts. The company also scheduled the distribution of 5,600 domestic gas cylinders to residential neighborhood agents.
