ADFC launches new guided cycling tours in Germany and Denmark
The ADFC Regionalverband Rostock, together with Bündnis 90/Die Grünen KV Rostock, is organizing a one‑day guided bike tour from Rostock to the Danish island of Falster on 25 July 2026. Participants will meet at 7:30 a.m. at the university square, travel by ferry to Gedser, then ride approximately 50 km across Falster before returning by ferry in the evening. The tour, suitable for riders aged 13 and up, costs about €33 for a round‑trip ticket and requires a basic level of fitness.
In Esslingen, the ADFC offers regular group rides departing from the Red Square in the Pliensauvorstadt. Led by certified tour guide Hartmut Schmid, the program includes the 84‑km “Radel‑Thon Stuttgart” on 18 July, a 98‑km “Hohenzollern to Lustnau” tour on 15 August, and the 36‑km “Esslinger Tour de Zwiebel” on 20 August. All tours welcome cyclists of varying abilities, with optional e‑bike use, and registration is recommended for updates on any changes.
