Adidas Originals launches first women's training collection and expands partnership with ASOS
Adidas announced the launch of Originals Sport, its first training collection specifically for women, blending the brand’s iconic Trefoil heritage with performance technologies such as Climacool, AdiSoft and Lycra Adaptiv. The line offers sports bras, leggings, tanks, onesies and layering pieces and became available online on 23 July 2026. Lisann Costello, vice‑president of Product Design Partnerships & Sports Marketing at Adidas, said the collection lets women train without compromising style or function. The global campaign features music star Tate McRae, professional volleyball player Emilia Mernes and athlete Harper Murray.
In parallel, Adidas Originals and online retailer ASOS released the fourth installment of their collaboration, adding a new womenswear range and the partnership’s first menswear collection. The drops, previewed for ASOS loyalty members on 29 July and launched worldwide on 30 July, are fronted by boxer‑model Ramla Ali for womenswear and footballer Noni Madueke for menswear. The collections reinterpret classic Adidas silhouettes with British‑fashion influences, new fabrics and AI‑powered virtual try‑on in the ASOS iOS app. The launches come as Adidas reported a 14 % rise in currency‑neutral revenue to €6.6 billion in Q1 2026, with e‑commerce sales up 25 % and strong direct‑to‑consumer growth.
