Adobe partners with Saudi Arabia to provide free AI tools to 27 million people
Adobe has announced an expanded partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and HUMAIN to provide free access to AI-powered creative tools. Valued at over $4 billion, the initiative aims to advance the nation’s creative sector by offering 12 months of free access to Adobe Firefly Standard and Adobe Express Premium features to more than 27 million eligible citizens and residents aged 13 and older.
Announced at the LEAP 2026 conference in Riyadh, the collaboration includes the development of ‘HUMAIN Image 1’, a new image generation model specifically designed to align with Saudi culture, identity, and context. This model will support Arabic language prompts and will be integrated directly into Adobe Firefly and Adobe Express.
Additionally, Adobe is introducing support for Modern Standard Arabic and right-to-left writing in Adobe Express across desktop, web, and iOS platforms. The free subscription package includes 2,000 monthly generative credits and 100 GB of cloud storage. Registration for eligibility verification is expected to begin ahead of the full rollout by the end of 2026.
