Adopt the Arts Foundation releases charity vinyl honoring Paul Rodgers and Geezer Butler

The Adopt the Arts Foundation is releasing a limited-edition double vinyl album, ‘Sound & Vision Live’, to honor rock legends Paul Rodgers and Geezer Butler. The recordings were captured during the inaugural Palm Springs Sound & Vision Awards held on March 2 at the Plaza Theatre.

Produced by Matt Sorum, the album features performances from a variety of artists, including Corey Taylor, Lzzy Hale, Glenn Hughes, and Nuno Bettencourt, who participated without payment. All proceeds from the sale of the 2,000 initial copies will fund music programs in under-resourced public elementary schools across Los Angeles and the Coachella Valley.

A release event is scheduled for September 13 at the Plaza Theatre, featuring screenings of a companion concert film. Among the limited run, 250 special collector’s editions on colored vinyl will be available exclusively at the event, while the remaining copies are expected to ship starting September 28.
