Adrian Szymaniak passes away after battle with brain tumor

Adrian Szymaniak, a participant of the reality program ‘Married at First Sight’, has passed away following a 14-month battle with a severe illness. He was diagnosed with a stage IV glioblastoma after experiencing neurological issues.

Szymaniak and his wife, Anita Szydłowska, met through the television program and subsequently built a family together. The couple had shared their medical journey and treatment struggles with the public, even launching a fundraiser to support his care.

Following the family's wishes, the funeral was held as a private ceremony. In a social media statement, the family requested that the media respect their privacy and asked that bystanders refrain from publishing materials from the service. Friends and fellow program participants, including Marcin Wichrowski, have shared tributes mourning his loss.
