Adult Swim Announces Rick and Morty Spinoff “President Curtis” to Premiere July 26

Adult Swim unveiled its new Rick and Morty spinoff series, President Curtis, at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. The show, centered on the character President Andre Curtis voiced by Keith David and joined by Stephanie Beatriz and Jim Rash, will debut on Sunday, July 26 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT, immediately after the series finale of Rick and Morty season 9. Episodes will be available for streaming on HBO Max starting July 27.

The series is created and executive‑produced by Dan Harmon and James Siciliano, with additional executive producers Danielle Uhlarik, Monica Mitchell and Steve Levy. It follows President Curtis and his eccentric staff as they handle interdimensional diplomacy, paranormal investigations and other sci‑fi adventures distinct from Rick’s technology. Adult Swim President Michael Ouweleen highlighted the show’s workplace‑comedy tone and its unique tech level compared with the main series.
