Adult Swim expands animation lineup with President Curtis and new series

Adult Swim is expanding its animated universe with several upcoming projects and special events. The spin-off series ‘President Curtis’, set in the ‘Rick and Morty’ universe, is continuing its run on HBO Max and [adult swim]. The fifth episode of the series features the fictional U.S. leader facing challenges at Camp David following conflicts with his political party.

At the upcoming New York Comic Con, Adult Swim will highlight new content, including the season two premiere of ‘Common Side Effects’ on October 9 and a screening of the new action series ‘Get Jiro!’. ‘Get Jiro!’ is based on a graphic novel co-created by the late Anthony Bourdain and Joel Rose. While ‘Get Jiro!’ is expected to arrive this fall, ‘Common Side Effects’ is slated for an early 2027 release.
