Adults Season 2 finale features romantic development for lead characters

The second season of the FX comedy series ‘Adults’ concluded with a significant development for the characters Anton and Paul Baker. After a season of maintaining a fake marriage for visa purposes, the characters shared a genuine kiss in the finale, signaling a shift from a legal arrangement to a real relationship. Co-creator Ben Kronengold noted that the characters are now ‘choosing each other.’

Actor Owen Thiele, who plays Anton, highlighted the importance of the storyline, noting the rarity of a Black, queer man leading a show with a prominent emotional love story.

Separately, Thiele documented a personal travel disruption on social media after his Delta flight was diverted to Albuquerque for an emergency landing. During the delay, Thiele shared experiences of meeting fellow passengers and navigating the unexpected trip to New Mexico.
