AECC auctions rustic land plots across Spain to fund cancer research
The Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) has launched a public auction for 12 lots of rustic land across eight Spanish provinces, totaling over 109,000 square meters. The properties include agricultural, forest, and pasture lands, with total starting bids set at 18,300 euros. Some lots feature discounts exceeding 70 percent compared to official appraisals.
Specific properties include a 12,153-square-meter plot in Vilafamés (Castellón) featuring olive groves and an agricultural building, and a 4,526-square-meter plot in Castellón de la Plana intended for citrus cultivation. Another lot is located in Capdepera, Mallorca.
The auction, managed through the Escrapalia portal, aims to optimize the association's assets to fund cancer research, prevention, and social support programs. The proceeds from these legacies will be directed toward the organization's scientific and social missions. Bidding periods vary by lot, with deadlines falling on September 9, 15, and 16.
