AEON MALL Hạ Long hosts tree planting event and receives green certification

AEON MALL Hạ Long hosted the “Gieo mầm sóng xanh” (Sowing Green Waves) tree planting ceremony on October 10, involving nearly 500 participants, including local leaders, AEON Group employees, and Japanese organizations. Approximately 7,000 trees from 25 selected species, including shrubs and woody plants, were planted within the shopping center's grounds to enhance the local green landscape.

During the event, AEON MALL Hạ Long officially received the LOTUS green building certification from the Vietnam Green Building Council. The initiative is part of the broader “Aeon Hometown Forest” program, which has been active since 1991.

Local officials, including Quang Ninh City Party Secretary Quản Minh Cường and Vice Chairman Nguyễn Văn Công, attended the ceremony. Isobe Daisuke, General Director of AEON MALL Vietnam, emphasized the company's commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development in partnership with the local community.
