AEON MALL Thanh Hoa opens in Vietnam

AEON MALL Thanh Hoa has officially opened in Thanh Hoa province, marking the first AEON shopping center in the North Central region of Vietnam. Spanning over 10 hectares with a total floor area of approximately 120,000 square meters, the facility features more than 130 stores including various international, Japanese, and Vietnamese brands.

Representing a total investment of approximately 4,157 billion VND, the mall recorded over 200,000 visitors within its first three days of operation. Tezuka Daisuke, General Director of AEON Vietnam, noted the high consumer potential in the region, particularly among young families.

Thanh Hoa provincial leaders highlighted the project as a symbol of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan. Local authorities have encouraged the group to prioritize hiring local labor and to act as a bridge for regional agricultural and seafood products to enter the AEON retail system.
