AEON Vietnam expands retail network with new locations and job growth

AEON Vietnam is significantly expanding its retail network, targeting a threefold increase in operations by 2030. As part of this growth strategy, the company is opening new locations in Hai Duong, Thanh Hoa, and Ha Long during the fourth quarter of 2026.

On October 15, 2026, AEON MALL Thanh Hoa officially opened, marking the brand's first presence in the North Central region of Vietnam. The new mall features various brands, including UNIQLO and ICONDENIM, and aims to serve as a modern lifestyle and shopping hub for local youth.

The expansion is driving substantial local employment. AEON Vietnam expects to create over 3,000 new jobs in 2026, bringing its total workforce to more than 12,000 employees by year-end. To support these new sites, the company has conducted recruitment drives across Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, and Quang Ninh for roles ranging from part-time staff to management positions.
