AEON Vietnam opens tenth shopping mall in Hai Phong

AEON Vietnam officially opened its tenth shopping mall in the country, AEON Hải Dương, on October 3, 2026. Located in Thạch Khôi Ward, Hai Phong, the facility serves as a strategic connection point between Hanoi and central Hai Phong, targeting a local population of over 330,000 residents within a 15-minute radius.

The mall covers a total floor area of approximately 38,100 square meters across three floors. It features AEON’s direct business operations alongside 37 specialty stores. The facility is organized into five service categories: food, children and entertainment, fashion, health and beauty, and living spaces. Notable amenities include a 1,000-square-meter playground, a cinema, and various international F&B brands.

This medium-scale mall is the group's third of its kind in Vietnam, following AEON Tân An and AEON MALL Đà Nẵng Thanh Khê. The project incorporates modern technology such as AI food recognition scales, self-service kiosks, and electronic price tags. Tezuka Daisuke, General Director of AEON Vietnam, stated that the opening marks a new chapter of development aimed at contributing to community prosperity and enriching local lives.
