AEON Vietnam to open 1.18 trillion VND shopping mall in Hai Duong

AEON Vietnam is preparing to open its tenth shopping mall in the country, located in Hai Duong. The project, representing a total investment of approximately 1,180 billion VND, is the first medium-scale mall from the Japanese retail giant in the Red River Delta region.

Scheduled to open on October 1, 2026, the 38,100 square meter facility is designed as a “Paradise for 3-Generation Families,” targeting urban areas with populations between 200,000 and 300,000. The mall is situated in Thach Khoi ward on a major transport axis connecting Hanoi and Hai Phong, serving a catchment area of over 330,000 residents within a 15-minute radius.

The facility features three floors and includes extensive parking capacity for 600 cars and 1,100 motorcycles. This expansion reflects AEON Corporation’s strategic focus on the Vietnamese market through flexible, medium-sized retail models.
