Aeroparque maintenance causes flight cancellations in Las Termas de Río Hondo

Preventive maintenance and runway improvements at Buenos Aires' Aeroparque Jorge Newbery have caused significant disruptions to regional flight connectivity. The closure of the terminal, scheduled from 9:00 on Tuesday, August 25, until 16:00 on Thursday, August 27, has forced the cancellation of several flights and the rerouting of itineraries to Ezeiza International Airport.

As a result of these works, the Las Termas de Río Hondo International Airport has suspended all its scheduled operations for Thursday. On Wednesday, August 26, only the afternoon flight will remain operational, connecting Santiago del Estero directly to Ezeiza. On Thursday, August 27, only the afternoon flight from the capital city will function, departing Buenos Aires after 17:00 and returning to Santiago at 19:00.
