Aerospace technology and space exploration featured in Italy

Aerospace technology and exploration are being highlighted through various Italian initiatives. At the BEX international aerospace salon in Rimini, the Brindisi-based research center CETMA showcased advanced technologies, including virtual reality simulators that allow users to experience life aboard the International Space Station and simulate zero gravity. CETMA also presented wearable technology featuring sensors to monitor vital signs such as EEG, ECG, blood oxygen saturation, and body temperature.

In Brugherio, the “Corsa allo Spazio” exhibition is being held at Spazio Nuovo Maria Bambina. The free event features scale models of rockets, spacecraft, probes, and aircraft to educate the public on space missions. The exhibition also incorporates local history by displaying postal cancellations from the municipality of Brugherio dating from 1975 to the present.
