AETA SA seeks to produce drones for Romania's defense sector

AETA SA, formerly known as Electroargeș, has expressed its intention to enter the defense industry by producing drones, autonomous systems, and various defense components. The company, based in Curtea de Argeș, sent a formal letter to the Romanian Minister of National Defence outlining its industrial readiness to participate in military equipment programs.

The company possesses an industrial platform exceeding 33,000 square meters and utilizes 37 plastic injection molding machines with closing forces ranging from 50 to 2,200 tons. Its technical capabilities include extrusion, pad printing, electrostatic painting, laser welding, and assembly. AETA SA also indicated it may collaborate with a Romanian partner specializing in high-precision metal processing for the aeronautics industry to support projects ranging from prototyping to mass production.
