Afghan Minister Haqqani Declares Afghans Unafraid as Air Force Strikes ISIS Targets in Pakistan
Afghanistan’s Minister of Information and Culture, Shar Ahmad Haqqani, told a seminar for journalists that Afghans are not intimidated by bombings or external pressure, saying the nation has already defeated opponents with superior weapons and technology. He emphasized that the Afghan people remain steadfast, declaring, “We are neither afraid nor defeated.”
In a separate statement, the Afghan Ministry of Defence said its air force carried out precision strikes on ISIS‑linked sites in Pakistan’s Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces, targeting coordination hubs used for sabotage and attacks against civilians. The ministry claimed the operations caused heavy militant casualties and financial losses while avoiding civilian casualties, coming amid recent Pakistani airstrikes that killed civilians in Afghan border provinces.
