Afghanistan says its air force struck ISIS-linked sites in Pakistan

Afghanistan's defence ministry said its air force carried out strikes on alleged ISIS (Daesh) facilities in Pakistan's Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. The ministry identified a joint ISIS centre in the Saranan area of Pishin district, Balochistan, and another site in the Kambar Khel area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, claiming the attacks caused heavy losses to the militants and no civilian casualties.

Pakistan's military reported it intercepted and shot down four Afghan drones over Balochistan. The Pakistani side said the drones were part of the Taliban‑run administration’s support for the militants.

Afghanistan's Information and Culture Minister Shar Ahmad Hakkani, speaking at a seminar, warned that Afghans are neither afraid nor defeated by external pressure or military actions, reinforcing the ministry’s stance amid rising AfghanistanPakistan tensions.
