AFM approves 2,749 eco-vouchers for Rabla Auto 2026 program

The Environmental Fund Administration (AFM) has approved 2,749 eco-vouchers for individuals participating in the Rabla Auto 2026 program. This latest batch of funding is valued at over 33.78 million lei.

The program aims to modernize the national vehicle fleet and encourage the purchase of less polluting vehicles. For the current session, a total of 93.737 million lei is available, sourced from previously reserved funds. The budget is distributed as follows:

• 70.312 million lei for new thermal propulsion vehicles (including LPG/CNG) and hybrid vehicles. • 20.45 million lei for plug-in hybrids, pure electric vehicles, or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. • 2.975 million lei for motorcycles and electric motorcycles.

Individual voucher values vary by vehicle type. Pure electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles qualify for 18,500 lei, plug-in hybrids or electric motorcycles for 15,000 lei, and hybrid vehicles for 12,000 lei. Applications remain open until December 31, 2026, or until the allocated budget is exhausted.
