AFM approves 3,661 eco-vouchers for Rabla Auto 2026

The Environmental Fund Administration (AFM) has approved a new batch of 3,661 eco-vouchers under the Rabla Auto 2026 program. This latest phase involves a total financial allocation of over 48 million lei aimed at individuals looking to replace old vehicles with less polluting alternatives.

Approved beneficiaries are required to scrap and deregister their old vehicles within 60 days of receiving their approval status. Following this, they must upload the necessary documentation and the deregistration date into the AFM computer application.

While funds for electric motorcycles, plug-in hybrids, and hydrogen-powered vehicles have been fully exhausted, the program remains open for hybrid vehicles and those with thermal propulsion systems, including LPG/CNG engines. The current available budget for these categories stands at 10,790,000 lei, with applications accepted until December 31, 2026, or until the allocated budget is depleted.
