Afreximbank leadership appointments regional operations intra-African trade trade finance

African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has announced several senior leadership appointments aimed at strengthening its regional operations, deepening client engagement, and accelerating intra-African trade and industrialization.

Key appointments include Peter Adeshola Olowononi as Director of Regional Operations for Southern Africa, based in Harare, Zimbabwe. Eric Intong Monchu has been appointed Group Managing Director of Client Relations and Regional Operations, based in Cairo, Egypt.

Additionally, Kudakwashe Matereke will serve as Director of Regional Operations for Anglophone West Africa in Abuja, Nigeria, moving from his previous role in East Africa. Humphrey Nwugo has been appointed Director of Regional Operations for Eastern Africa, based in Kampala, Uganda.
