African Development Bank supports digital and industrial projects in Côte d'Ivoire and Tunisia

Côte d'Ivoire is advancing its digital administration through the construction of a new datacenter in Yamoussoukro. Part of the 60 billion FCFA (approximately 91.5 million euros) Project to Support the Strengthening of Electronic Administration (PARAE), the facility will centralize and streamline public digital services. A significant portion of the budget, roughly 54.54 million euros, is dedicated to ecological digital infrastructure. The site, located within the technopole of the Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny, has been expanded to one hectare to accommodate the project.

In Tunisia, the African Development Bank (AfDB) has signed two guarantee agreements totaling 700 million dinars to support strategic state enterprises. The first agreement, worth 111.5 million euros, is designated for the National Water Distribution and Exploitation Company (SONEDE) to improve the technical and energy performance of the Greater Tunis drinking water network. The second agreement, valued at 110 million dollars, will fund environmental upgrades and modernization for the Tunisian Chemical Group. These initiatives align with Tunisia's 2026-2030 development plan focusing on water, food, and energy security.
