Afro Basaldella Tribute and Alberto Ferrari Solo Concerts in Italy

On Friday 24 July, the historic Castello di Prampero in Magnano in Riviera hosted a concert titled “Il Castello rinato di Afro”. The event honored the Friulian painter Afro Basaldella and reflected on the region’s recovery after the 1976 earthquake. Performers included the Quartetto Stradivarius, and admission was free while seats lasted.

On Tuesday 4 August, Alberto Ferrari, the front‑man of the Italian alternative band Verdena, gave a solo acoustic concert at Villa del Colle del Cardinale in the Perugia province. Part of the Moon in June festival, the intimate performance featured Ferrari’s guitar and voice, presenting songs from his solo repertoire and Verdena’s catalogue.
