Italian tribute concerts summer 2026

In late July and early August 2026 several Italian towns staged tribute concerts celebrating prominent cultural figures. On 9 August and 28 August, Milo’s Arena Teatro Lucio Dalla hosted two events honoring singers Franco Battiato and Lucio Dalla, featuring performances by Amara, Simone Cristicchi, David Cuppari, Giorgia Zaccagni and the Ethos Orchestra. Earlier, on 24 July, the historic Castello di Prampero in Magnano held “Il Castello rinato di Afro,” a free concert commemorating Friulian painter Afro Basaldella with the Quartetto Stradivarius. The following week, on 4 August, Alberto Ferrari of Verdena performed a solo acoustic set at Villa del Colle del Cardinale in Perugia as part of the Moon in June festival.
