Agence Bayt Mal Al Quds Al Sharif distributes school supplies in Jerusalem
The Agence Bayt Mal Al Quds Al Sharif, operating under the Jerusalem Committee chaired by King Mohammed VI, has completed the distribution of 3,000 school bags and stationery sets in Jerusalem and its surrounding areas. This initiative coincides with the start of the 2026-2027 academic year.
Funded by the Fez City Council and the Moroccan Association for the Support of Reconstruction in Palestine, the program is part of an integrated social and economic support framework for the 2027-2030 period. The aid targeted 3,000 students in upper primary and secondary education, specifically focusing on orphans, students from low-income families, and children of persons with disabilities.
Distribution covered various locations, including the Old City, Silwan, Wadi al-Joz, Al-Ram, Beit Hanina, and the Shuafat and Qalandia camps, among others. Local social workers and community leaders noted that the provision of these supplies provides essential relief to families facing high costs of educational materials.
