Al Quds Bait Al Mal Agency educational initiatives
Overview
The Al Quds Bait Al Mal Agency, operating under the Al-Quds Committee chaired by King Mohammed VI, has initiated several educational support programs for Palestinians and Moroccans.
In August 2026, the agency launched its 17th annual summer camp in Skhirat, Morocco, bringing together 50 Palestinian and 50 Moroccan children for workshops on teamwork and digital literacy. Following this, the agency launched a campaign to distribute over 3,000 school bags and complete stationery sets to support the 2026–2027 academic year. Funded by the Fez City Council and the Moroccan Association for the Support of Reconstruction in Palestine, the initiative targets primary and secondary students, specifically focusing on orphans, students from low-income families, and children of persons with disabilities.
By September 2026, the agency completed the distribution across Jerusalem and surrounding areas, including the Old City, Silwan, Wadi al-Joz, Al-Ram, Beit Hanina, and the Shuafat and Qalandia camps. The agency stated that the intervention seeks to alleviate financial burdens on families and support the continuity of education as a means of “preserving Palestinian identity in the city.” These efforts are part of a broader integrated program scheduled from 2027 to 2030 aimed at improving school infrastructure and supporting digital entrepreneurship.
