Agency for Audiovisual Media Services launches media literacy coloring book

The Agency for Audiovisual Media Services (AMU) has introduced an educational coloring book titled ‘My Media World’ (Moj svijet medija) designed for primary school-aged children. The initiative aims to teach children how to critically understand media content rather than just how to use technology.

Through illustrations and creative tasks, the project encourages children to distinguish facts from opinions and recognize manipulative content or attempts at influence. Damir Nikočević of the AMU emphasized that because children grow up with digital platforms, it is essential they learn to question the reliability of information and the intent behind the content they consume. The coloring book is part of a broader, long-term effort by the agency to promote media literacy across different generations in a modern digital environment.
