Agentic AI Foundation adds 57 members including Alibaba and Visa

The Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF) has expanded its membership by 57 organizations, bringing its total to 247 members worldwide. The growth includes 3 Gold, 33 Silver, and 21 Associate members. Notable Gold tier members include Alibaba Group, Visa, and Wells Fargo, each contributing $200,000 to the foundation.

Managed by the Linux Foundation, the AAIF focuses on developing open standards for agentic AI infrastructure to ensure interoperability across different tools, platforms, and industries. This standardization is particularly critical for compliance-heavy sectors such as banking, payments, and supply chain management. The foundation currently tracks 116 open source projects across five layers of the agentic AI stack.
