Agibot launches humanoid robots in Indonesia with local partnership

Chinese robotics firm Agibot introduced its AI‑based robot portfolio to Indonesia at the Agibot Partner Conference 2026 in Jakarta, showcasing three humanoid models that performed industrial tasks and demonstrated traditional pencak silat moves.

The rollout is supported by local partner Denka Pratama Indonesia, which will handle branding, distribution and after‑sales service, and by PT Robotika Futuristik Indonesia for leasing robots and robodogs under a Robot‑as‑a‑Service model. Agibot cited a market outlook predicting Indonesia’s robotics market to grow from US$23.8 million in 2025 to US$47.75 million by 2030, indicating expanding use beyond manufacturing into logistics, retail and security.
