Agit Kabayel title fight: Nelson Hysa withdraws

Nelson Hysa has withdrawn from a scheduled WBC heavyweight title defense against Agit Kabayel. Promoter Frank Warren revealed that terms and contracts had already been agreed upon before Hysa sent a message stating he no longer wanted the fight.

Kabayel, the WBC heavyweight champion, is expected to defend his title in Germany later this year against a top-10 ranked opponent. Warren stated that a new challenger will be announced next week. Hysa had previously challenged Kabayel following a victory over Thomas Narmo in August, leading to a verbal confrontation at ringside.
