Agribank and Ninh Binh Province launch AI‑powered public service kiosks

Agribank partnered with Ninh Binh provincial authorities to roll out a network of AI‑enabled ‘smart kiosks’ that automate the issuance of digital copies of official documents. The ceremony was attended by senior officials from the province, Agribank, the Ministry of Public Security and the State Bank of Vietnam, highlighting the government's push to modernise public administration.

The kiosks combine administrative, legal and financial services in one place, using facial recognition and document verification to issue electronic copies within minutes. Previous deployments in Hanoi, Thanh Hóa and Quảng Ninh have served nearly 20 000 users with a satisfaction rate above 90 %. Ninh Binh becomes the fourth province to adopt the system, with ten locations slated to reduce paperwork, waiting times and operational costs for citizens.
