Agribusiness firms showcase new technologies at regional trade shows

Agricultural companies are showcasing new technologies and machinery at regional trade exhibitions in Argentina and Bolivia.

In Argentina, Olpimar participated in the San Francisco Expone, presenting agricultural and road machinery. The company, which has evolved from a general store into an agribusiness dealer, highlighted its focus on after-sales service and technical support. Alongside Nex Siembra, which introduced drone alternatives for field work, Olpimar featured LiuGong equipment, including electric loaders and excavators entering the Argentine market. A 160 HP tractor was a primary attraction at the event.

In Bolivia, Bayer participated in the Exposoya del Norte 2026 in San Pedro. The company demonstrated technologies designed to improve soybean productivity and manage production costs amid rising diesel prices. Bayer’s presentation included seed treatments such as Evergol Energy, fungicides for disease control, and insecticides like Oberon to combat mites and whiteflies. The company also emphasized technical advisory services to help producers prepare for the 2026-2027 summer campaign.
