Agricultural exhibitions see high demand in Argentina and Spain

The upcoming Rural Exhibition of Livestock, Industry, and Commerce in Villa Bordeu is seeing record interest. Facundo Olavarría, manager of the Sociedad Rural de Bahía Blanca, reported that over 150 commercial exhibitors are currently on a waiting list to participate, exceeding previous expectations despite the local economic climate.

The organization is also investing in infrastructure and environmental improvements at the site, including the planting of over 150 trees and irrigation systems in the corral sector, as well as renovations to historic pavilions.

In Spain, San Emiliano de Babia is preparing for the XXXVI Hispano-Bretón Contest-Exhibition on August 30. Recognized as a Regional Festival of Tourist Interest in Castilla y León, the event is part of the 2026 National Calendar of Selected Livestock Contests. The event aims to promote extensive livestock farming and preserve the local landscape, culture, and traditional way of life in the Babia region.
