Agricultural funding extended in Romania and Moldova
Romania's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has extended the deadline for viticulture sector funding applications until November 30, 2026. This extension, requested by producer organizations, allows for more preparation time for investments under the 2023–2027 Strategic Plan. The funding, totaling over 11 million euros, aims to modernize activities, improve energy efficiency, and adopt sustainable production practices through two specific interventions.
In Moldova, a new funding call (DR-06) has been announced, offering up to 500,000 lei for projects focused on soil conservation, pasture improvement, and irrigation modernization. Farmers, local public authorities, and producer organizations can submit applications between October 28 and November 27, with funding awarded based on the order of submission.
