Agricultural sectors in Argentina and Peru launch professional development initiatives

In Argentina, the Federación Agraria Argentina (FAA) and the Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA) have launched a training cycle in Paraná aimed at empowering young rural producers. The program focuses on incorporating technical and technological tools, such as precision agriculture and machinery regulation for grain sowing, to improve production efficiency. The initiative is set to expand to Concepción del Uruguay and Concordia.

In Peru, the Instituto Nacional de Innovación Agraria (INIA) is calling for agricultural professionals and technicians to join the National Network of Agricultural Extensionists. Managed by the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI) under Law No. 31368, the registry aims to strengthen technical assistance for vulnerable rural families. Professionals who join the network, which already has over 200 specialists registered in the Puno region, will gain access to continuous free training in areas such as animal health and seed production.
