Agrinio Transport Directorate targeted in theft and vandalism

The Agrinio Directorate of Transport and Communications, located at the 65th kilometer of the Agrinio–Antirrio National Road, was targeted in a theft and vandalism incident. Between midnight on September 9 and approximately 06:50 AM, perpetrators entered the premises and removed several pieces of equipment.

Stolen items include four wardrobe-type outdoor air conditioning units, three split-type outdoor units, and an unknown length of copper piping. The thieves caused significant damage to the facilities during the removal process. While initial reports estimated the value of the stolen goods at approximately 700 euros, the total cost of the damage is expected to be much higher once the cost of repairing the facilities is factored in.
