Theft and vandalism in Agrinio

Overview

In Agrinio, the Directorate of Transport and Communications was targeted in a theft and vandalism incident. Between midnight and early morning on September 9, perpetrators entered the facility located on the Agrinio–Antirrio National Road to steal equipment, including four wardrobe-type outdoor air conditioning units, three split-type outdoor units, and copper piping. The theft caused significant damage to the premises. While the stolen goods were initially valued at approximately 700 euros, the total cost of the incident is expected to be much higher once repairs are calculated.
