Agritourism and Alpine tourism sectors featured at TTG Rimini

The TTG Travel Experience in Rimini served as a key platform for discussing the evolution of the Italian tourism sector, specifically regarding agritourism and Alpine destinations.

At the Agriturist forum, industry leaders addressed a 'polycrisis' affecting primary sector businesses, including climate change, geopolitical instability, and rising production costs. Roberto Caponi, General Director of Confagricoltura, emphasized the need for new production and sales strategies, alongside personnel training and labor market tools. Augusto Congionti, President of Agriturist, noted that successful agritourism must balance tradition with innovation.

Additionally, the Fortur Tourist Consortium participated in the event within the Turin Alps + Vialattea//Bardo stand. Consortium President Serenella Marcuzzo highlighted the importance of collaborative promotion to increase the visibility of Alpine destinations. The initiative aims to promote year-round tourism by showcasing nature, sports, and culture beyond the traditional ski season.
