Aguascalientes Governor inaugurates Microcart expansion and meets with producers

Governor Tere Jiménez of Aguascalientes has inaugurated a new production line for Microcart, a corrugated cardboard packaging company. The expansion at the Chichimeco Industrial Park in Jesús María includes the addition of approximately five hectares to the plant. This project is expected to generate up to 500 new jobs and increase the company's capacity to process up to 15,000 tons of cardboard per month.

In a separate initiative to support regional economic drivers, Governor Jiménez met with over 120 local producers and agro-industrialists. During the meeting, she highlighted that the agricultural sector contributed to a 13 percent growth in the state last year. The administration pledged continued support for modernization, innovation, and market expansion to maintain the competitiveness of Aguascalientes' agricultural products.
