Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono responds to KPK search at ATR/BPN Ministry

Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono has responded to a search conducted by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN). The KPK investigators searched three Director General offices and several directorate rooms on Thursday, September 17.

The search is part of an investigation into alleged bribery regarding the processing of Building Use Rights (HGB) for Summarecon Bogor and other related receipts. While the offices of several Director Generals were searched, the office of Minister ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid was reportedly not entered, though four of his close associates have been named suspects.

Yudhoyono stated that he respects the ongoing legal process and suggested the incident should serve as an evaluation for both central and regional government levels. He emphasized the importance of maintaining clean and high-integrity governance to ensure effective public service and the achievement of government targets.
