Ahn Eun-jin discusses career success and health struggles

South Korean actress Ahn Eun-jin shared personal insights regarding her career and health during a recent appearance on the YouTube channel ‘Fairy Jae-hyung’.

Ahn reflected on the significant impact of her role in the drama ‘Hospital Playlist’, noting that the project's success led to her filming over 45 advertisements. She mentioned that the recognition from that role provided her with greater confidence during auditions, as directors were already familiar with her acting capabilities.

Addressing professional and personal hardships, Ahn revealed that she suffered from facial nerve paralysis while filming the JTBC drama ‘The Good Bad Mother’ in 2023. She described the difficulty of managing the condition, which required intensive treatment including acupuncture and steroids, while continuing to film.

She also discussed the pressure she faced during the production of the MBC drama ‘My Dearest’, where she initially encountered casting controversies. To overcome these challenges, Ahn chose a direct approach by asking the director for support and guidance to rebuild her confidence on set.
