Ahsoka Season 2 Actor Eman Esfandi Teases Action‑Packed Episodes

Actor Eman Esfandi, who appears as MJ’s boyfriend in the Marvel film Spider‑Man: Brand New Day, said on the red carpet that the upcoming second season of the live‑action series Ahsoka will feature “a lot of action – fights, battles, explosions, lightsabers, lasers.” He added that showrunner Dave Filoni “went nuts” with the new episodes.

The season, now slated for early 2027 after a delay from an original 2026 target, is the only live‑action Star Wars series currently in development, with the animated Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord Season 2 the only other confirmed canon series. Plot threads expected to continue include Baylan Skoll’s hunt for the Mortis Gods, the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn, and the reappearance of Anakin Skywalker’s Force ghost, portrayed by Hayden Christensen.
