Ahsoka Season 2 concept art raises Star Wars timeline questions

New concept art and trailer details for the second season of the Star Wars series ‘Ahsoka’ have surfaced ahead of its scheduled January release on Disney+. The upcoming season is expected to feature flashbacks to the Clone Wars era, with Hayden Christensen returning as Anakin Skywalker and Ariana Greenblatt reprising her role as a young Ahsoka Tano.

Plot details indicate that Ezra Bridger and Hera Syndulla will team up to confront Thrawn, with the character Zeb also joining the group. However, recently released concept art depicting large-scale battlefield scenes has sparked discussion regarding potential inconsistencies in the Star Wars timeline. While the art suggests epic combat sequences, some observers note that the New Republic era is typically described as a relatively peaceful period, making the depiction of an all-out war appear contradictory to established lore.
