Workers remain uneasy: a global survey of more than 39,000 employees found only about one‑quarter feel their jobs are safe from AI, with confidence higher among knowledge workers and lower for repetitive roles. Experts stress the need for continuous upskilling, clear communication from employers and strategic workforce planning to avoid talent loss and disengagement.

Security and cost concerns are also emerging. Threat actors are leveraging large‑language models to accelerate weaponisation cycles, while enterprises face an “automation cliff” as AI‑powered agentic workflows drive token consumption and budget overruns. Healthcare, radiation oncology and metadata management illustrate both the promise of AI‑enhanced diagnostics and the challenges of maintaining data provenance and ethical standards.
